Most recently we invited our grandparents and close family friends to join in us for Grandparents Day! Grandparents were invited to join in the Parish Life Center for a fabulous music production and then to visit classrooms to meet our teachers and friends! Refreshments were served and we dismissed early to spend the day with Grandparents!
In April we took a field trip to the Carter House in Franklin to learn a little bit of local history! What a beautiful day to share the past and eat a picnic lunch!!!!
During the Lenten Season our class studied the Stations of the Cross. We truly developed a greater respect for the Way of the Cross as we presented the "Living Stations of the Cross" for the school on Holy Thursday.
Hear Ye! Hear Ye! It's a medieval feast fit for a Queen!
The Knights all gave their toasts in poetry and prose. A fabulous feast was had by all. Each knight's shield was displayed in honour. Queen Harris and Queen Russell were accompanied by many honorable guests including Fr.Mark Beckman and Fr. Mark Hunt who graciously entertained their subjects in duel!
Mrs. Harris' Class participated in the Junior Docent Program at The Hermitage. Each student was able to dress in period appropriate clothing and presented historical information at several stations around the grounds of the Hermitage. After touring and presenting, the students enjoyed picnic lunches!
