Home of the 2007 Boys Varsity Cross Country Champions!   2007 Boys Varsity Champions & 2nd Place Varsity Girls Team SMS Cross Country 2007 Welcome to the SMS Cross Country Team. This year we expect to have over 180 SMS students participate, a tremendous number of athletes. Please continue to re-visit this page for new announcements as the year progresses and for pictures and stories of our achievements during our upcoming meets. Student runners should never be discouraged by how much faster another student may be. Most of us who run will never win a race. Our achievements are measured by how much better we can make ourselves personally. One of the most successful emotions we can have is to cross the finish line with a PR (Personal Record) and know that all of our hard work and effort was worthwhile. There are few sporting events that allow as much satisfaction individually, for any age student, than Cross Country. We are always in need of parents for every practice. It does not matter how fast you are, we will fit you in the practice, especially during the runs that will be in the Timberline neighborhood, as the students will be separated very quickly. If you are interested please contact Coach Crow, or email Coach Tuerff. 2007 Kindergarten Team Practices: Beginning August 22nd 3:00 – 4:15 Monday and Wednesday (rain or shine) No Practice Labor Day  Mock Meet - September 19th Diocesan Athletic Form: Every student is required to have a Diocesan Athletic Form and a Code of Conduct Form completed for each school year.
