Music Ministries - Many opportunities are available for those interested in sharing their musical talents:

8:30 Ensemble - This group of musicians leads the sung worship at the 8:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday. These talented vocalists and musicians form the core of a new growing ensemble, dedicated to providing vibrant and energetic music at this liturgy.

Parish Choir – The choir is responsible for leading congregational singing at the 11:00 a.m. Mass. They combine with the Saturday Ensemble and the 8:30 Ensemble for major lituries throughout the year. They sing a variety of musical styles, from traditional hymns to contemporary liturgial works. The choir also presents anthems periodically throughout the year, allowing the congregation to reflect on the text and enter a time of spiritual reflection.

Saturday Ensemble – The Saturday Mass is led by a group of vocalists & instrumentalists who prefer a more contemporary style of Liturgy.  Our vocalists form a mini-choir/praise team hybrid. We typically sing music in three or four parts and are accompanied by piano, guitar, bass, flute, sax and congas.

Children’s Choirs –Children's Choirs are open to all children of the parish. We have different choirs for children who are at different developmental stages. Check out our Children's Choirs Page!

Handbell Choirs - Our newest ensembles are our bell choirs. In September 2007 we launched our 2 adult bell choirs.

Cantors – Cantors are special ministers who guide the congregation through their sung participation in liturgical celebrations.  They are not soloists, but facilitators of sung prayer.

Instrumentalists - Instrumentalists are always welcome at any service. If you want to be a regular and play every weekend, or if you just want to participate periodically throught out the year, we would love for you to participate in our music program

Minister of Hospitality

Hospitality Ministers greet those attending Mass with the objective of instilling a sense of belonging.  Duties also include participating in the offertory, distributing bulletins and straightening the Sanctuary after Mass.  Eligible volunteers include men, women and young adults with a warm, welcoming personality.

Lector

Lectors proclaim the Word of God during Mass. Training is required before one is put on the schedule and periodically thereafter.
