Education & Formation

The Education and Formation Committee's goals are to create an awareness within the faith community of the responsibility of all the faithful for the catechetical mission of the Church; to recommend policy for the catechetical ministry to children, youth, adults, and persons with special religious education needs; and to promote, coordinate and evaluate the total Christian educational ministry of the parish.

Catechists - Religious Education Teachers
Catechists are ministers of the Word who require sound orientation, preparation and dedication. Because of their love of their Catholic faith, these volunteers must be enthusiastic about sharing their faith. Classes are held Sunday mornings, between the Masses, during the school year.

Catechists - Substitutes
Volunteers are needed to support the regular Catechists during absences.
